Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992)

The GT3 RS (992) presented in 2022 is the latest version to date of the GT3, a legendary model in constant evolution since 1973's Carrera RS 2.7, the first Porsche badged RS (Rennsport, which can be translated as “racing sport”). While previous 911s incorporated state-of-the-art technology into GTs to make them regular road cars, the new 911 GT3 RS is different. While basic concessions have been made to ensure a safe and enjoyable ride on the road, this is in fact a high-performance race car for use on the racetrack. Scoops and air vents are present throughout the bodywork, which also features aerodynamic appendages on the roof and wings, but the most remarkable feature is the large rear spoiler which - for the first time on a Porsche road car - incorporates a DRS drag reduction system that contributes to the car's highly refined aerodynamics.
