A Servo is an electromechanic device that get his orders from the receiver and converts the signal into a mechanic displacement of a rudder on an axle. The position the rudder takes is directly linked on the order of the receiver. There exists Digital and analog servos, which differ by the way they handle their signal. Mostly the analog servos are less powerfull, less precise but cheaper. The digital servos are mostly more precise and more powerfull but they are slightly more expensive.
Waterproof servos exists for cars and boats to protect the electronics, the motor, the gear wheels from water and dust.
