The Audi 90 Quattro Racing made a name for itself in American racing in 1989. Its 2.2-liter in-line 5-cylinder engine, capable of developing more than 700 hp, combined with Quattro all-wheel drive, gave it exceptional performance. Wider than the production car, its lightweight bodywork with carbon or aluminum panels featured a large rear spoiler.
