F-35C Lightning II 1/48

Lockheed Martin's F-35 Lightning II is a 5th-generation fighter developed within the framework
Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) program, which aims to design a unique successor combining stealth and
connectivity to various types of aircraft. Intended to replace the U.S. Navy's carrier-based F/A-18s, the
carrier-based F/A-18s, the F-35C is equipped with the CATOBAR (Catapult Assisted TakeOff
But Arrested Recovery) system. Larger wings and stabilizers than on other F-35 variants
variants ensure reduced speed for landing, while the wingtips fold upwards at 90° to gain
to save deck space. The F-35C's nose landing gear has a more robust structure
twin wheels for catapult-assisted takeoffs. The landing hook

• Choice of mission configuration: stealth mode, air-to-air (missiles only) or heavy (Beast Mode). with under-wing armament and belly gun.
