High Performance Prop

Spartan’s props gets the hull on plane quickly to reach maximum speed with the least current draw. Traxxas engineers tested countless prop configurations to find the perfect balance of performance, efficiency, and durability. Molded composite construction makes the prop light and tough, with no balancing or sharpening required.

High Strength Aluminium Hardware

Spartan’s rudder and drive strut are machined from tough 6000-series aluminium for maximum strength and then anodized vivid blue for that unmistakable Traxxas look. The drive strut uses special bushings for corrosion-free performance and features an oiling hole for easy maintenance.

Stainless Steel Trimm Tabs &Turn fins

Spartan’s dual trim tabs and turn fins are critical to its high-speed performance. The parts are precision die-cut and bent from stenless steel to rresist corrosion as they provide aggressive cornering “bite” and the proper hull attitude for water-boiling speed.

Streamlined Water Outlet

Spartan’s water outlet it streamlined and integrated into the hull to maintain it sleek look. Even the smallest details are important when creating a 50+ mph speed machine.

Clipless Latching System

Spartan comes outfitted from the factory with heavy duty, low-profile hatch nuts to keep the rigid ABS hatch securely fastened. Juste a quick turn with the included hatch nut tool gives you full access to the hull. Spartan also includes a set of optional wingsuits for quick toolless installation and removal

Water cooling System

A pickup in the aluminium rudder sends cooling water to the motor and ESC. A sealed motor jacket flows water directly around the aluminium can for maximum heat transfer. This efficient design helps Spartan keep its cool, rub after run, for trouble-free all-day fun

Heavy Duty Flex Shaft

Spartan’s new heavy duty 4.7 mm flex shaft is 25% larger in diameter for the ultimate in power handling and reliability. Additionally, Spartan’s new electronics tray maximizes efficiency by moving the motor further back for a shorter and more direct path to the prop.

Quick-Release Flex Cable

Spartan’s SR’s clamping collet holds the flex cable tightly and perfectly and centres it perfectly with the motor’s output shaft for smooth, efficient operation. The collet releases quickly with a twist of the include wrench for easy maintenance. Once loosened, the prop and flex cable simply slide out, making it easy to keep your Spartan SR running in peak form.

Waterproof Electronics

Waterproof electronics are a must in a marine environment. Traxxas electronics are fully waterproof (not just water resistant). The speed control, servo, and receiver all feature rugged waterproofing protection for dependable operation you can count on.

Self-Righting Flood Chamber

If Spartan SSR should land keel-up in the water, an intel at the top of the hull begins filling the flood chamber with water. The weight of the water pulls the boat to one side until it right itself. Apply throttle to evacuate the flood chamber and you’re back in the action. The whole process takes only seconds and requires no special technique or skill.

Spartan SR’s foam flotation ensures the boat maintains proper buoyancy while self-righting. In addition to making Spartan SR virtually unsinkable. The fitted foam insert adds extra rigidity to the bow.
