Le chasseur à réaction J-10, surnommé « Vigorous Dragon » (Dragon Vigoureux), est un avion de chasse de troisième génération, multirôle, tout-temps, à hautes performances et développé localement. Il met en avant une grande fiabilité, une forte capacité de survie, une haute manœuvrabilité, avec un grand rayon d’action, des longueurs de décollage et d’atterrissage réduites, de fortes capacités d’attaque et une efficacité globale en combat du niveau le plus avancé par rapport aux autres jets comparables au plan international.

Le J-10 EDF Jet est doté d'une aile delta et d'un plan canard uniques qui lui confèrent une maniabilité exceptionnelle à grande vitesse ainsi qu'une grande agilité à basse vitesse. Utilisant des batteries 4S, il est alimenté par une turbine de 64mm avec un moteur brushless et un ESC de 40A qui aident à reproduire le son d'un avion de chasse. Les détails de haute fidélité comprennent des ensembles d'armes détachables, une sonde de ravitaillement en vol, des feux de navigation et un train d'atterrissage usiné CNC. Fabriqué en mousse EPO 40, il offre une résistance aux chocs et une peinture résistante à l'eau. Le jet J-10 EDF est facile à assembler. Les modélistes expérimentés peuvent l'assembler en une trentaine de minutes. Des peintures optionnelles sont également disponibles.
