Beneath the reinforced clipless body, Rustler’s chassis sits low and wide for increased stability and sharp handling. Rustler’s all-new BL-2s^™ brushless power system delivers effortless power for all-day fun with an added boost of torque for 4-wheel burnouts and lightning-fast acceleration. Additionally, Rustler 4X4 now comes standard with Traxxas’ Extreme Heavy Duty Upgrade Kit to become the new standard for strength and durability.

Gray 2.8” RXT wheels and talon EXT tires

Rustler’s gray 2.8” RXT wheels provide terrain conquering ground clearance and a commanding presence. Aggressive Talon™ EXT tires dig into dirt and grass for outstanding 4x4 traction. The EXT’s tire compound provides extra durability on pavement with a unique design that restists “ballooning” at high speeds.

Long travel suspension

Rustler 4x4 has huge amounts of seemingly bottomless ultra plush suspension travel to swallow up jumps and delivers incredible control. Performance optimized suspension components provide maximum articulation without binding or interference.

Oil filled Ultra Shocks™

Rustler 4x4’s oil filled ultra shocks utilize X-rings for a perfect seal and pre-load on the white powder coated springs with the included spacer clips.

Innovative chassis

Rustler 4x4’s modular chassis design allows the entire front section to be removed with just 5 screws, and the rear assembly with just 4 screws. In less than a minute, you have full access for easy service and adjustment.

Clipless Body

Rustler 4x4 uses a rugged clipless body latching system for secure mounting and easy one handed removal. The latching system incorporates an internal body cage that greatly strengthens the body for long life. The body comes pre-painted and cut with decals already applied.

Tough reinforced bumpers

Tough reinforced bumpers protect the chassis against impacts. The specially designed front bumper provides a high approach angle that allows the rustler to climb up and over obstacles with ease.

Extreme suspension components

Rustler 4x4 comes outfitted with the extreme heavy duty upgrade kit already installed for ultimate strength and durability. The axle carriers, C-hubs and steering blocks are beefed up with more material and stronger construction.

Upgraded slipper clutch

Rustler 4x4’s slipper clutch features larger alloy pressure plates and high temperature aluminium pads for superior power handling. The slipper clutch delivers equal power distribution front to rear for instant throttle response through the drive system and aggressive four wheel drive grip.
