Dodge WCs were all-wheel drive vehicles developed by order of the US Army in late 1941. They were produced until the end of the Second World War. About 25,000 of these trucks were sent to the USSR, which gave them the nickname "Three Quarters" because of their 750 kg (3/4 ton) load capacity.
Initially used as artillery tractors for anti-tank guns, they soon became available to all branches of the army.
