Drift is a relatively new discipline, the goal is to slip and slide as much as possible with the car … but to control the slipping movements with great precision. This way of driving needs a lot of skill, and a good throttle and steering control. The chassis used for this is usually four wheel drive and have tires with almost no grip at all. The races allow drivers to compete against their opponents and off course the aesthetics, quality of the course, sliding angle, speed and style are judged. In contrast to the regular races, is this more an "individual" task that can be compared to ice skating. Drift cars are most of the time on 1:10 scale.
