The sailboat in the marine modelisme is like a glider in the aeromodelisme.
A discipline where you have to use the wind mass energy to move forward and nothing else. The transmitter allows to move the sail(s).
A winchsystem is built-in the hull, while the servo(s) are steering the rudder.
There are competitions in different categories, dependent by the boat size and the height of the pannage. The races are based on the real races with strictly rules and are in need of a good focus. But you can also use the boat for your pleasure, to enjoy silently the locations like a pond and a quarrie.
